Report on this event in 2012
After the continual rain over the previous few weeks we were very fortunate with the weather and were able to go ahead with our Mixed Am-Am. All the competitor’s were full of praise for the course and the obvious hard work of the ground staff. Although most teams found our course challenging, they all thoroughly enjoyed their experience and we look forward to seeing many of them again next year on Sunday 7 July 2013.
The Results
1st – with a score of 77 points were Peter and Linda Spencer and Richard and Lynne Barrick from Worksop Golf Club. Well done to them.
2nd with a score of 76 were Mike and Belinda Briggs, Stuart Moore and Pat Fox from Retford Golf Club.
3rd with a score of 75 were Kath and Paul Mowforth, Wendy Coussens and Gordon Manson from Beauchief and Hallamshire.
4th with a score of 74 were Alan and Julie Gamble, Steve Birkett and Jane Quibell from Lincoln Golf Club.
